Recently I bought a car from a Toyota dealer. I am an entrepreneur and just arrived in Australia. Originally I wanted to purchase the car from my private funds.
The dealer noticed that I have the funds to pay for the car, but no employment.
He decided to make the car a business owned car in the name of my business although, I payed from my private funds.
How in the world can I manage to book this car as part of the business?
Can I just sort of present the car to the business? How can I book this with MYOB?
Cheers
Volker

You need to talk to an accountant because of the tax implications. The bookkeeping part of it wont be hard but you need to be given specialist advice on how to treat it. Did you pay GST for instance? (By the way I am an Australian)
